Packaging Recommendations

Proper packaging may prevent products from being damaged in shipping.
Shipping damage will increase the repair cost and turnaround time.

  • Our recommended method of shipping is through FedEx or UPS.

  • Use a sturdy, heavy duty box designed for shipping. Do not use display boxes or boxes that have punctures, tears, rips, corner damage, or that have wear.

  • For many products, the original manufacturer’s box and foam are ideal.

  • Wrap your product with at least two inches of packing material on all 6 sides.

  • When shipping products with exposed parts such as antennas, cables, lenses, ports, etc, take extra care to package them in a way to prevent damage.
If removable, remove those parts and wrap them separately.

  • Only use materials that are intended to be used for shipping. Miscellaneous items and materials will NOT be used in return shipping to you and will be disposed of.

  • We recommend large bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and sturdy packing paper.

  • We recommend against using air pillows, especially for heavy items.

  • If you do not have appropriate packing materials, we suggest having FedEx or UPS package your product for you.

  • Insure the item for full value should it be lost or damaged during transit.
